Sugar Creek Brewing Co Hosts ACL COBS 2017 Regionals

Sugar Creek Brewing Company will be the home for the ACL COBS 2017 Regional Cornhole Tournaments beginning August 21, 2017. Monthly Regional Singles and Doubles Tournaments enable players to earn points and win cash. The ACL Points System creates Singles and Total Points rankings for players. ACL Members will be ranked on a local, regional and national level. Participation in 6 ACL Regional or National events enables players to participate in the COBS 2017 Main Event. The COBS 2017 prize pool is estimated to be over $50,000 for players of all skill levels.

Each Regional will feature two divisions. Each division will have a Singles Tournament and a Bring Your Own Partner (BYOP) Doubles Tournament. Players may play in just one or both tournaments. The Open Division is for the most potential points and has the the highest cash payouts. The Social Division is for the casual players that enjoy playing for fun or just getting started with competitive play. Competitive players must play in the Open Division and are not allowed to play in the Social Division.

If the number of individual players in the Open Division or Social Division exceeds 64, a Competitive Division or Backyard Division will be created to further divide players into groups based on skill level.

The Open Division is $40 for ACL Members / $50 for Non ACL Members for the Singles and Doubles Tournament. Individual tournaments are $25 Member / $30 Non-Member. Payout is 75% of member entry fees plus sponsorship allocation, if any. The number of places paid is based on participation.

The Social Division is $20 for ACL Members / $30 for Non ACL Members for the Singles and Doubles Tournament. Individual tournaments are $15 Member / $20 Non-Member. Payout is 50% of member entry fees plus sponsorship allocation, if any. The number of places paid is based on participation.
