• What is Cornhole?

  Cornhole is a great sport that anyone can play. The basic equipment needed to play is 2 sets of bags (4 bags per set) and 2 cornhole boards. The sport is primarily a social activity played at tailgates, bars and backyards all over the United States. The American Cornhole League has established divisions to allow players to play competitively at any age and any skill level. It is a sport that can be played socially or competitively for a lifetime.

• What Cornhole Rules Do You Follow?

  We follow the basic rules established by the American Cornhole League. Certain events may vary so always check with the Event Director for rules specific to any league, tournament or event. A basic game is played to 21. Players get 1 point for landing the bag on the board and 3 points for putting the bag through the hole. Players alternate throwing 4 bags per round and do cancellation scoring at the end of each round. If Player A scores 8 and Player B scores 6, then Player A gets two points and has the first throw in the next round. There is no win by two or need to score exactly 21 to win a game.
